The UK's festival season has just begun, and the country's most sought after festival - Glastonbury - is fast approaching, so what better time to give a shout out to some of the alternative festivals that are around Europe this summer.
Focusing specifically on places to see indie and rock bands, this post will give you a brief outline of festivals, acts, dates and prices, followed by links for you to head over to their official webpages and check them out in more detail.
From the list it is clear that the likes of Kasabian, Biffy Clyro and Mac Demarco are making the rounds this summer, and we hope this will inspire you to branch out and visit a new country, or festival, and experience some incredible live music this year.
