In a similar vein to that of our favourite festival acts, we've rounded up our top lineups for festivals world-wide. We want to know if you was you lucky enough to attend any? Are there any you think should be up in our Top 10? Let us know in the comments.
Coachella 2007
We're starting across the water with Coachella's 2007 lineup. The large-scale festival saw the likes of Amy Winehouse, Arctic Monkeys, Faithless, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Sonic Youth, Happy Mondays, Interpol and Jarvis Cocker.
Isle Of Wight Festival 1970
The IOW in 1970 saw chaos as around 600,000 attendees descended on the fields to witness the likes of The Doors, The Who and Jimi Hendrix, Supertramp and Chicago perform. Sadly this turned out to be Hendrix's last UK performance before his death weeks later, and for many reasons this festival will be one to remember.
V Festival 2009
Oasis may have pulled out, but with a lineup consisting of The Specials, Paolo Nutini, Elbow, Biffy Clyro, The Enemy, The Streets, Ocean Colour Scene and James - V Festival 2009 still had plenty to offer. Topped off with a surprise performance from Amy Winehouse, it's definitely up there with our favourites.
Oxygen 2004
Oxygen 2004 took Ireland by storm with a killer lineup of acts. The Strokes, The Cure, Kings of Leon, Massive Attack, Muse, The Libertines, Ocean Colour Scene, Faithless, Elbow and Chemical Brothers are just a selection of phenomenal acts who performed.
Glastonbury 2008
2008 wasn't just a great success for Glastonbury, but it was a turning point with the festival's lineup. Jay-Z flew over from NYC to headline the Pyramid stage, which at first caused controversy amongst attendees. He, along with The Verve, Amy Winehouse, Kings of Leon, The Fratellis, Kate Nash, Massive Attack, Editors and The Enemy, made for a colossal lineup.
Reading 1994
We're going back to the 90s with this 1994 lineup from Reading Festival. A bill comprised of mainly Indie, Rock & Hip Hop; we saw the likes of Primal Scream, Manic Street Preachers, Radiohead, Pulp, RHCP and The Verve.
T In The Park 2016
Following on from a chaotic relocation in 2015, TITP had a lot to prove with their 2016 festival. Although now closed down for an indefinite period, the lineup for the year was (as always) jam packed with some great bands. The likes of The Stone Roses, Courteeners, Shed Seven, The Coral, The Last Shadow Puppets, RHCP, Jake Bugg and Slaves were on the listing for the year.
Reading & Leeds Festival 2000
A far cry away from the lineups produced by R&L today, this millennium lineup had a top class set of headliners with the likes of Stereophonics, Pulp, Oasis, Primal Scream, Foo Fighters, Ian Brown, Embrace and Muse.
Coachella 2012
For our penultimate lineup we're heading back over the water to Coachella in 2012. They produced a bill that catered for everyone, but some of our favourites are: The Black Keys, Arctic Monkeys, Pulp, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds and Radiohead.
Desert Trip 2016
We're ending on the most recent lineup of them all - Desert Trip 2016. There's not much to say here apart from it was an unbelievable lineup of true rock greats.
