The Notorious MMA; Well known for his loud, in-your-face personality and his extravagant wardrobe to match.
At Phix we are lovers of bold fashion styles which encompass personality, and we love McGregor because that’s exactly how he dresses. He’s the man who replaced the pinstripes on his suit with a continuous flow of ‘fuck you’; turned up to a press conference in a full-length Gucci mink coat, and graced the cover of GQ Style magazine. With 21.2 million followers on Instagram, he’s reached the point where today he’s probably just as well known for his extrovert fashion and luxurious lifestyle as he is for his MMA career.
He’s usually sporting opulent brands such as Dolce and Gabbana, Versace, Gucci, Hermes and Louis Vuitton, through heavily printed shirts, luxurious time-pieces, matching co-ords and sartorial suits. Yet, whether he’s rocking a suit which quite literally screams 'fuck you', or he’s wrapping himself up in a fur number, it’s always loud and impeccable, and sets him apart from everyone around him.
His clear passion for not only mixed martial arts, but also clothing has been shown with his recent announcement with luxury tailor, David August. In 2018 they will be releasing a menswear label 'August McGregor', which is set to target those Millennials who wish to follow McGregor's out-there style, whilst feeling 'confident and powerful' doing so.
We're excited to see what the UFC champion and Creative Director, David Heil, come up with, but for now we've accumulated some photographs which represent his wild sense of style.
